Alkira supported WSP Digital to define a Smart City implementation plan for the new district of Rua al Madinah.

Our contributions included:

‍Reviewing and rationalising the initial smart city use cases ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Developing a Technology Blueprint for the Rua Al Madinah Smart City which included:
- Mapping Use Cases to ITU TechnologyLayers.
- Defining Technology Services foreach of the Technology Layers
- Specifying the characteristics of each Technology Service including user groups, functional & technical requirements, integrations, HW & SW components, service levels and hostinglocation
- Defining a high-level TechnologyArchitecture including applications, integration, data, infrastructure and network
Supporting the definition of requirements into work packages for procurement
