Alkira supported Qatar 2022 in developing the IT service delivery strategy and service management framework for the FIFA World Cup 2022, to enable the delivery of reliable and coordinated IT operations across all venues and support environments.
Our contributions included:
- Defining the IT Service Delivery Strategy, covering the service management organisation, service catalogue, operational processes, tool requirements, and readiness approach.
- Leading the sourcing of IT suppliers, including requirements definition, RFP management in collaboration with procurement teams, technical evaluation, and onboarding.
- Supporting service management planning and operations for both the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 and the FIFA World Cup 2022.
This work established the foundation for a structured and scalable ITservice environment, supporting critical operations across pre-event and event time.
